COVID - 19:

Since the lockdown, The British Chiropractic Association has advised members against holding any face to face consultations, including emergency appointments. Measures have now been eased in England and patients who have an ‘urgent clinical need’ and cannot be helped remotely using telehealth may now see chiropractors. This remains subject to a comprehensive risk assessment and the chiropractor has to provide a safe environment.

At present, I think it is too early to resume any face to face appointments safely. This is in alignment with guidance in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland which all have lower infection rates than England.

All enquiries are welcome and I will get back to advise you as soon as possible. Anyone who considers that they have an ‘urgent clinical need’ should also dial 111 or 999 if it is an emergency.

I will be contacting all patients as soon as face to face appointments become available again.

Best wishes, Will Thompson (Chiropractor)

Back pain can be debilitating and because there are many causes, what helps one person may aggravate another. Treatment must therefore be matched to the patient. At theChiro, you will recieve a careful assessment and explanation of your symptoms. The first step is always to make an accurate diagnosis and identify any barriers to a normal recovery. Based on this you will receive a treatment plan and recommendations that are specific to you and your needs.

Doctor of Chiropractic

Originally from Truro, I became intersted in chiropractic after a rugby injury in my teens. I have 10 years experience as a chiropractor in the UK and abroad and gained valuable insight working as an NHS chirorpactor for a total of six years in Bristol and Truro. I have a particular interest in managing disc conditions and referred pain as well as rehabilitation techniques. When not at the clinic, I enjoy travelling and sailing.
